We get to see glimpses of freedom through the story of the Old Testament, as we hope for Jesus's arrival. The Israelites leaving Egypt. The exiles coming home from Babylon. David dancing in the streets. Esther saving her people. Hosea picking Gomer up and taking her home. This freedom is love. Deep, messy, sacrificial, all-encompassing love. And it's all yours, here and now. But can you even imagine the freedom that's coming? ⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ Read Isaiah 61:1, 1 Peter 2:16, and Acts 13:38-39.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ What makes you feel alive? Painting?
